Do What Jesus is Doing in March

March 15/16

  • People really enjoyed special Oasis Prayer Service. Here is one testimony from the night:

“Hey, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the worship night on Friday. I felt so refreshed and especially liked the freedom that the Holy Spirit was given to minister to people. I was also very encouraged by the people on the team who took the initiative to pray prophetically over me in my seat. I would love to attend more of these meetings in the future!”

  • Trinity had a successful Scouts Sunday service. Boy and girl scouts were recognized and during the service a spiritual understanding was added to the “Scout Oath”. Boys and girls were also given a chance to serve during the service.
  • 180 Youth preparing to go to South Africa on outreach are meeting each week and continue to grow as a team.
  • 180 youth band did a great job leading the Grace Extended service in musical worship. Youth were also involved with ushering and communion making it a true 180 youth night!

March 22/23

  • Lady heard the worship music and joined the Sunday service. Loved the service and even went up for prayer at the end. Said she would invite more friends the next week.
  • One new person, and two regulars were very touched by the talk directed at creatives. Really spoke to them.
  • Four youth got baptized at the Spring Retreat held March 21-23.
  • The following note was received by our Kids’ Programs Director, Anna Gavine, about the impact Kid’s Church had on one of their sons:

Dear Anna,
I just wanted to let you know that Taren is now very enthusiastic about attending Kid’s Church. Last week my husband and I planned for the whole family to go to GE because it fitted better with our various activities. Taren was adamant that he really wanted to go on Sunday afternoon so he could attend the kids’ program! He said that his teacher is great and he really likes it. So I am really happy and wanted to let you know.

Many thanks,
Terena Clarke

Anna shared that:

For me this is extra special as Taren never used to come to KC at all! Even before I started the job he had decided he was not going to the kids programs and would always stay in the service with his parents. This is a huge turnaround for him!
