What Is Alpha?
Alpha was developed by Nicky Gumbel of Holy Trinity Brompton, in London, and has been used all over the world. It is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, friendly setting, and has been done by over 23 million people all over the world. Alpha usually meets once per week for 10 weeks, and includes a weekend getaway. At each session, people enjoy great food, watch a DVD lesson and then break into small groups where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile.
Who Is Alpha For?
Alpha is for anyone who has come to investigate questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life, the afterlife, the claims of Jesus, and more. Some people want to get beyond religion and find a relationship with God that really changes their life.
